Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Swannanoa, NC
Pay Range: $17
Shift: 6am-4pm
What's the Job?
- Set up, operate, and tend various cutting or forming machine tools or robots.
- Inspect workpieces for defects and measure to ensure accuracy using measuring instruments.
- Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and plan operational sequences.
- Adjust machines as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform minor maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, and notify supervisors of major repairs.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years related experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and production processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
