Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a NC or compact RN license and CPI or equivalent behavioral de-escalation certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Care Center of a hospital setting
• Care for emergency patient population with diverse acute cases
• 12-hour shifts from 12:45 PM to 1:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• RNs will care for patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Team-oriented environment with expectations to participate in collaborative emergency care
• Dress code and other specific requirements will be communicated upon offer

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience
• Current CPI or acceptable equivalent behavioral de-escalation certification required (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA accepted)
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past year
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
