Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced board-certified Endocrinologist to join our growing team. This role is primarily outpatient, offering the opportunity to treat a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions while working alongside a strong support staff in a modern clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, and metabolic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.
Interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and specialized endocrine tests.
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to practice development.
Minimal call responsibilities; limited or no inpatient coverage unless otherwise desired.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board-certified in Endocrinology.
Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon.
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
