A board-certified neurosurgeon providing 24/7 trauma and spine call coverage at a Level I trauma hospital. Responsibilities include managing inpatient neurosurgical cases, completing required EMR training, and coordinating with hospital staff. The role requires active licensure, certifications, and availability for scheduled shifts starting June 2025 and ongoing from October 2025.
Hospital is looking for Primary call coverage beginning June 2025. Ongoing dates will begin October 2025.
- 24 hr call: $4400
- Gratis: 8 hrs
- Callback: $400/hr
Average Total Callback Hours: 7 hours
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- June 7 (7a) - 10 (7a)
- ongoing dates have yet to be released and are TBD, starting October 2025.
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified Neurological Surgery - Required
- Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
- Active ACLS, BLS - Required for credentialing
- Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
- Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
- Must disclose # of shifts per month provider can offer to the team, ongoing - Required
- Candidates must be available for the dates detailed in the job description to be considered for ongoing dates - Required
- Clean Malpractice/Background - Required - Candidates with a self inquiry NPDB report will be considered at a higher priority as this will ensure no issues on the candidates file for emergency temp privs to be granted.

- Required Procedures/Job Duties: Level I Trauma facility with primary call requirements- 24/7/365. Proficiency in general Neurosurgery, trauma, spine.

EMR Required Training:
- Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
- EMR Virtual training - Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual EMR training must be scheduled prior to the providers first day, to avoid the provider missing their first day.
- All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission at time of presentation.
