The position offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts over a 13-week contract, supporting trauma levels 2 to 4 facilities. Physicians will collaborate with advanced practice providers, use Cerner EMR, and must hold an active Ohio medical license with necessary vaccinations completed.

Job Highlights Location: Near Youngstown, Ohio. Start Date: February 10, 2025. Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension. Shifts: Day: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM. Night: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM. Additional shifts may vary depending on site needs. Volume: Emergency Departments range from 15,000 to 48,000 annual visits. Certification: Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM). Alternatively, board-certified Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Pediatric Medicine (PM) physicians with 7,000+ hours of ED experience. Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency required. Facility Features Trauma Levels: Varies from Level 2 to Level 4, based on the location. Support Services: Includes general surgery, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and OB/GYN, among others. EMR System: Cerner. EMR training will be provided. Staffing: Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) collaborate to deliver high-quality care. APP supervision required. Job Benefits Competitive Compensation Flexible Scheduling: Minimum commitment of 2-3 shifts per month (local) or 3-4 shifts per month (traveling). Travel & Accommodations: Billable travel included.
