Gastroenterologist Physician Locums Job in Kentucky Ongoing to Start in Early 2026
Job Requirements for Assignment :
Kentucky state medical license
Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist
24-hour call + inpatient coverage
ERCP is required; EUS is NOT required
Expedited privileges available
9-10 days per month; targeting final 9 days of each month
Mid Level Support is available
100% inpatient
Unit Details:
Inpatient support
Patients per day in Unit: 5-10 patients
Avg patients seen per day: 5-10 patients
Is there Anesthesia support- yes
# of surgeries per call shift: 0-5
Will Locums be sole provider: no- except on on call days they will be
Is there other support start for Locums: (if so what)- Inpatient APRN
Round Required: yes
Will Locums do Admits: yes- 5-10 per day depending on day Start 730AM- hand off 730AM
They need the last 9 days of each month starting April 2026-into April 2027
Scopes are scheduled schedule is - M-F
Schedule: arrive by 730 for inpatient appointment/procedures and either do rounding before or after final patient.

5/23- 5/31 ending (6/1 730AM)
6/AM -6/30 (ending 7/1 730AM)
7/23- 7/31 ending (8/1 730AM)
8/23- 8/31 ending (9/1 730AM)
9/AM 9/30 (ending 10/1 730AM)
10/23- 10/31 ending (11/1 730AM)
11/AM -11/30 (ending 12/1 730AM)
12/23- 12/31 ending (1/1/AM)
