- Valid BLS/ACLS; PALS desirable
- Ability to work required shift pattern and 1099 contract terms

Emergency Medicine Physician

Incoming candidate can expect:
- 1099
- base rate + hourly incentive + quarterly bonus pool
- Excellent bedside manner required
- Goal—work at least 12 required shifts/month (12 hour)
- 6, 24 hr shifts
- ER + urgent care in the same facility
- APRN’s triage urgent care patients
- Typically have 4-5 physicians per site
- 24 hour shift- can expect to see 40-50 patients/day (observations + critical care)
- Moderate to moderate high acuity
- Run very few codes
- Births are rare
- Heavy trauma is rare- tertiary hospital available
