Job Details:

• Work on a 36 bed adult surgical unit caring primarily for trauma patients and acute care surgical patients
• RN patient ratios: days 1:4, nights 1:5
• Fast-paced environment requiring Level I Trauma center experience preferred or several years at Level II Trauma center
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required
• Required experience with chest tubes, various drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)
• Must be experienced with lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
• Experience required with trachs/laryngectomies and telemetry monitoring
• Must be skilled in complex wound care and central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
• Care for trauma patients including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and orthopedic injuries
• Handle acute care surgical cases including hernia repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy
• Work with 2 negative pressure rooms available for isolation patients
• Focus on rehabilitating and supporting patient needs as highest priority
• Required credentials: NH RN License or Compact License with proof of state residency, BLS certification
