Marshfield Medical Center Rice Lake is seeking a Walk-In Care Nurse Practitioner in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. The Nurse Practitioner is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to NP/PA Protocol, and within the scope of their License in the State of Wisconsin. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.

12-hour shifts: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

32 or 36-hour week available

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Required Education: Master s Degree in Nursing or Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant Program

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: Two years of nursing experience or one to two years experience in specialty

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

Minimum Required

• Current Applicable State Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Licensure.
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
