Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience and a compact or Indiana RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a diverse adult medical-surgical patient population
• No local travelers within a 50-mile radius are eligible
• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating care for medical-surgical patients
• All requests for time off must be less than one week
• Travelers must provide proof of an active driver’s license
• US Social Security Number required for consideration; Canadian SIN not accepted

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Candidates must not have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past two years
