RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 4:1, may flex up to 5:1 during staffing shortages
• Located on 2nd floor of main hospital building in a 25-bed unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
• Preferred qualifications: preceptor experience and charge nurse experience
• Manage stroke patients, cardiac drips, patients on continuous bipap, and post procedure patients
• Work with equipment including bipap, restraints, airvo, seizure precautions, bedside monitoring, and telemetry
• Perform typical procedures including emergent thoracentesis and telemetry monitoring
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Work as part of interdisciplinary team including charge RN, 6 staff RNs, and 3 PCTs per shift
• Must demonstrate compassionate care, strong communication skills, integrity, and willingness to help others
• Travel nurse position with 2 positions available

The facility specializes in caring for stroke patients, cardiac cases, and patients requiring continuous monitoring including bipap support and post-procedural care.
