Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgeries in a Level I trauma academic hospital setting. They manage high-acuity cases across multiple specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, and pediatrics. This role requires board certification, licensure, and experience working full-time in a clinical environment, supporting anesthesiologists and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Start Date: October 20, 2025
Contract Length: 6 months (no exceptions)
Full-Time Only: Must commit to 6 months, full-time
Shift Options:
5x8 (7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.)
4x10 (7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.)
3x12 (9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. New Haven only)
Days: Must be willing to work any 3 days/week, including Fridays
Weekends: Extra shifts encouraged if available
Call: None
Setting: Academic hospital / Level I trauma center
Patients per Day:
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: Anesthesiologist onsite
Required Case Types:
Must be comfortable handling high-acuity cases in:
General, Ortho, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Healthy Pediatrics
Board Certification: Required (NBCRNA)
License: CT license required (will consider those needing licensure)
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a CRNA (no exceptions)
Credentialing: 120 days
Must provide a physician reference from every facility you ve worked as a CRNA
Clean background required no malpractice or licensure issues
Residency Requirement: Providers must reside outside the state of Connecticut
