We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity involves working 12-hour shifts, with both day and night coverage available. The physician will provide care in a facility equipped with 7 ED beds, ICU beds, and fast track beds, ensuring high-quality treatment for patients requiring emergency services.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care for patients presenting to the ED
- Manage cases in a facility with ED beds, ICU beds, and fast track beds
- Stabilize and transfer patients requiring higher levels of care
- Utilize full on-site laboratory capabilities for patient assessment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver timely patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
- Adhere to all facility protocols and clinical guidelines
Additional Information
- Texas medical license required
- Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- ABEM certification preferred; will consider FM trained physicians with strong ED experience
- Emergency Medicine residency training preferred; open to FM residency trained with ED experience
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- If EM board certified, proof of ATLS completion required at least once in career
