NDT Level II Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: San Jose, CA
Long-Term Contract | Partnering with a Leading Aviation Innovator
TRCTalent is seeking an experienced NDT Level II Inspector for a long-term contract with a cutting-edge aviation manufacturer in San Jose. This role supports the Quality Team by conducting ultrasonic inspections of composite parts and bonded assemblies to ensure aircraft integrity. Candidate must have level II NDT UT testing ability and experience performing ultrasonic inspection of composite parts and adhesive bonded assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
Calibrate and operate NDT equipment for inspections.
Perform ultrasonic and general aircraft inspections.
Interpret results and compile detailed inspection reports.
Follow established criteria and specifications.
Utilize MES/SAP for electronic inspection documentation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
Ability to achieve NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), ET and FPI
Experience performing ultrasonic inspection of composites parts and adhesive bonded assemblies.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing NDT tasks and interpreting inspection results
Proficiency in NDT reporting and interpreting results.
Experience suing MES/SAP systems to complete inspection plans electronically
Aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience.
Willing to travel up to 20%.
Preferred:
Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI).
Familiarity with Model-Based Definition (MBD).
Experience using Teamcenter.
