Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist!
We are seeking a Board Certified CRNA to join a compassionate and dedicated team at a full-service community health system located in Clinton, Iowa. This facility operates 249 licensed beds and is committed to providing exceptional healthcare with a focus on compassion, human dignity, and social justice. The practice encompasses a range of anesthesia services for both adult and pediatric patients, operating 24/7 to meet the needs of the community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide all professional anesthesiology services and/or supervise and manage anesthesiology services for hospital patients.
- Administer general anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, thoracic anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesia, and sedation as necessary.
- Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications.
- Respond promptly to codes as needed, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with OR Leadership Team, Anesthesia Providers, and clinical staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain high standards of care in accordance with approved medical standards.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) Required
- Iowa license (or willing to obtain) or IMLC Required
- 5+ years of CRNA work experience Preferred
- Experience with adult and pediatric procedures Required
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire) Required
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire) Required
- Clean malpractice history Preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) Required
- Iowa license (or willingness to obtain) Required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as outlined above.
