Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position with a WI or compact license and strong large ED or travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Night shift schedule from 11:00 to 23:30 with flexibility as needed
• Care for a diverse, high-acuity emergency patient population
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Uses Epic for electronic charting; Epic experience required
• Provide direct emergency nursing care including triage and stabilization
• May float to other emergency departments within a 40-mile radius as needed
• Weekend and holiday coverage required on an alternating basis
• Facility accepts local candidates at a reduced pay rate according to local radius rules
• Covid vaccination is no longer required
• All positions are auto offer roles
• 2 professional references must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of previous ED experience with recent travel experience, or more than 5 years in a large emergency department if no travel experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Current TNCC certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
