Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health assignment, requiring recent travel experience and North Dakota licensure.
Responsibilities
- Home health and hospice setting
- 40 hours per week, working 5x8 hour day shifts
- Serve a diverse patient population with a focus on geriatric patients
- OASIS documentation and drug medication review part of home health role
- Cerner EMR system experience strongly preferred
- Deliver rehabilitative therapy services to home health and hospice patients
- Develop and coordinate therapy plans for individuals and families
- Assess and appraise individual and family health needs and hazards
- Work under manager/director supervision for evaluation, planning, and implementation
- Adhere to all performance standards and department guidelines
- 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in North Dakota (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapist experience strongly preferred
- Recent travel experience required
- Competency in OASIS documentation and understanding of regulations
- Ability to perform drug medication review when functioning as sole discipline in the home
