Our job summary

This position is for a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) working 36-hour night shifts over a 13-week period, primarily in acute care settings such as ER, ICU, and med surge floors. Candidates must be licensed, have at least one year of experience with ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment, and be willing to travel over 50 miles from their permanent residence. The role includes administering inhaled medications, managing ventilators, and collaborating within varied hospital units, with benefits starting on day one.

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, every other weekend
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

OH License
1 year experience
EKG exam is not required
Must have exp with Vents, high flow nasal cannula, heated high flow
Facility will accept a CRT or RRT
BLS
Facility prefers 1 year of experience

Other Details:

Local candidates will not be accepted
Unit normally staffs 4-5 RT's a night depending on volume
They are assigned by points (it varies depending on volume and how many staff we have), so they could be on many floors depending on the load.
Ideally they take 40-50 units.
We have an ER, ICU, CVICU, step down unit, and regular med surge floors.
Does not need to be NICU trained, but would be nice
The charge therapist on site normally helps specifically in the NICU as needed
Use 980 Vents
RT responsible for both nebulized and other inhaled medications
