This role is for a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide inpatient care at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Florida. The position involves managing emergency cases, diagnostic imaging, and coordinating patient handoffs to specialists, with a requirement of 12-15 shifts per month. The ideal candidate must hold an active Florida medical license and certifications including ATLS, PALS, and ACLS, and work normal clinical hours in a hospital setting.
Work Dates Needed: Ongoing, Est start date- February 16, 2026 Preferred Schedule: Normal clinical hours Worksite Setting: Inpatient, Level 2 Trauma, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center Scope of Work: 11 private patient care beds, Projected 12,385 visits in the first year. Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active FL License, Board certified/board eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM/AOBEM) or board certified in Family Medicine with extensive ER experience, ATLS, PALS and ACLS. EMR: N/A Pay Rate Preferred: $290/hr Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position: They would like providers that can offer 12-15 shifts per month Diagnostic imaging, including CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists Other Details: Level II Trauma Center Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI from the American College of Cardiology Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center The Joint Commission Sepsis Program Certification American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Accreditation Cardiopulmonary CAP Accreditation College of American Pathologists Laboratory Accreditation Accreditation by American College of Radiology (ACR) in Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT and MRI.
