Job Description
A Long Island, New York based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate primary patient care. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and works well in an interdisciplinary team. This clinic is a fast-paced environment and providers are responsible for medical services to adult patients.
Required Qualifications
- NY medical license as NP
- Master s Degree (MSN), Doctoral Degree (DNP) or equivalent
- NY DEA certificate
- Current NP board certification by ANCC/AANP
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
- Attend and collaborate in staff meetings
- Work within evidence based medicine at all times to provide the best possible care
- Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
