This position is for a Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized care in cardiac and stroke patient management with a focus on telemetry monitoring over a 13-week assignment in Rochester, NY. Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN
Ratios: Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in)
• We have PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living
• We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines

Special Requirements: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions
