We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join a busy practice based in Tavares, FL.
This highly successful practice draws patients from the Tavares, Mount Dora and Eustis areas and care is provided in a newly renovated unit specially designed for women & children s services.
The practice is split with a fairly equal mix of OB and GYN patients. This office is well equipped with spacious exam rooms and is staffed for in-office procedures, and current support staff includes MA's and seasoned front office personnel. All deliveries and surgeries are performed at the nearby hospital.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Desire to join a highly collegial team of experienced physicians
- Experienced with laparoscopic surgery
- Comfort with engaging members of the community to help expand market share
- Rotating Call for the labor unit and gynecology with other members of the team
- Board Certification (or Board Eligibility if less than 5 years out of training)

Tavares is located in beautiful Lake County, where residents and visitors enjoy the quiet pleasures of rural living among 1,400 lakes for fishing and water sports, all within 90 minutes of the Orlando International Airport, East Coast beaches, Gulf Coast beaches, and the Orlando area attractions. The average temperature is 70 degrees, with summer highs in the 90's and winter lows in the 50's and 60's.
