- Number of Staff – 71
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator
- Night Shift – labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
- Patient Ratios – labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
- Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors
- EMR – Meditech, CPN
Hiring Profile
Must have:
- At least 2 years of labor experience
Preferred or nice to have:
- 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification
Dress Code:
- Navy blue scrubs/ MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security
