Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio requiring an OH or compact RN license and strong PCU skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
• Patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients
• Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Use of Epic EMR for documentation
• Responsibilities include IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Provide comprehensive care to a PCU patient population
• Must be available to work during the blackout period from 2/15/26 through 2/28/26 with no RTO granted
• Team-oriented environment with opportunities to work with various acuity levels
• Holiday rotations required as part of the schedule

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience required
• Current certifications in ACLS and BCLS required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
