Unit Overview – Labor & Delivery (707) Number of Beds: 16 Total Staff: ~120 Day Shift Team: Charge Nurse, PCT, CST, RN Night Shift Team: Charge Nurse, PCT, CST, RN Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Philips Electronic Fetal Monitoring EMR: Cerner and Fetal Ink Common Procedures: Vaginal Deliveries Cesarean Sections Dilation & Curettage (D&C) Cerclage Classical Hysterectomy (C-Hyst) Preferred Candidate Profile: Must-Have Skills: Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience Experience with high-risk deliveries Competency in immediate newborn care Preferred Skills: Circulating experience (especially in C-sections) Ideal Personality Fit: Outgoing and approachable Team-oriented and adaptable Calm under pressure Certifications Required: BLS / ACLS NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN or equivalent) Additional Details: Floating Areas: MFMU, MOMB, NICU Scrub Color: Provided by facility Weekends / On-Call: Not required (available upon approval)
