Speech-Language Pathologist Role $2,200 per week
About the OpportunityWe’re looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility setting. As part of the Medadventures network, you’ll help residents regain communication and swallowing function, improve their quality of life, and receive the compassionate care they deserve.Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and monitor resident progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and physicians.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP license in the state of practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Prior SNF experience preferred but not required—new grads are encouraged to apply!
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
