Job DescriptionThe IMCU Charge/Manager RN will be responsible for managing nursing staff and coordinating patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit, providing specialized nursing care for adult patients with various conditions including neuro, cardiac, and respiratory disorders.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the IMCU and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff.
- Assist in the management of complex patient cases and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU required.
- Travel experience required.
- Active New York RN License and all additional RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- 2 recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references.
- Skills checklist matching specialty is required.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
