RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Position eligible for 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Work on 20-bed transplant nephrology unit with 1:6 patient ratios
• Required to work 3 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements
• Float policy applies - agency/contract nurses float first
• Provide med/surg care to nephrology, kidney transplant, renal, and dialysis patients
• Dialysis procedures performed off the unit
• Unit has daytime unit secretary, PCTs available, and unit educator for support
• Virtual nurse completes patient admissions allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Required certifications: BLS and ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs with option for black scrub pants
• Must have experience in med/surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, or dialysis
