Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Oncology position requiring a TX or compact RN license and oncology nursing certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Surgical Oncology unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes individuals requiring oncology and surgical nursing care
- Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Primary responsibilities include providing care to oncology and surgical patients
- Complete professional profile with skills checklist, references, nursing license, and copies of certifications required for onboarding
- All certifications must be active through at least the first 30 days of assignment
- No Canadian Social Security Numbers will be accepted
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required at the time of application
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in oncology nursing
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Oncology nursing certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in oncology
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
