Travel OB Ultrasonographer will be working approximately 32 hours per week. This person will work directly with our perinatologists. The OB ultrasonographer will perform Level II ultrasounds on OB patients looking for anomalies, multiple gestations, any sort of concern that an obstetrician may identify in the office. These are usually high risk patients with some sort of issue. Rarely do we use ultrasound for dates and size but they could be asked to do those. This person will do ultrasounds on our inpatient OBs who come in with pre-term labor and often times we look for placement of placenta, ruptured uterus, etc. We have started to do Nuchal translucencies. Our perinatologist have become certified. These OB ultrasonographers would report to the manager of Labor and Delivery until we get a coordinator for the program.
