Position OverviewOptigy is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a locum opportunity in Lima, OH. This position offers a flexible schedule in a collaborative inpatient environment, working alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
RequirementsActive Ohio Nurse Practitioner license and Ohio DEA
Current Board Certification (ANCC or AANP)
ACLS certification required
Minimum of 24 months of recent inpatient experience
Must provide:
Active licensure and board certificates
Education diplomas
Current TB test, Drivers License, Social Security card, and professional photo for badge
Collaborating Physician Agreement (SCA) on file
ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient hospitalist care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning
Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across diverse adult populations
Document assessments, progress notes, and care plans accurately in the EMR
Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the clinical team

Schedule: Flexible 12-hour shifts

Telehealth: No
Overtime: Daily after 12 hours; Weekly after 168 hours
