About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our growing outpatient practice. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with an experienced clinical and administrative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality improvement, coordinated care, and value-based healthcare models.
Role Overview
The Primary Care Physician will provide high-quality outpatient medical care while collaborating closely with the Practice Administrator, Case Manager, and clinical support staff. This position plays a key role in achieving organizational goals, enhancing patient outcomes, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Perform medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients
Accurately document patient encounters per organizational policies
Collaborate with Medical Assistants and clinical staff to ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary medical teams
Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
Participate in quality assurance and clinical problem-solving initiatives
Support special medical projects and on-site services as needed
Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain professional affiliations
Required Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or equivalent licensure)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and/or Geriatric Medicine
Active or eligible unrestricted state medical license
Active, unrestricted DEA license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of outpatient clinical experience
Active Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
Experience with Medicare Advantage and Value-Based Care models
Strong understanding of Medicare guidelines and coverage
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Proficiency with EHR systems, including Athena EMR
