Join a mission-driven primary care team serving underserved northern NM with a Monday–Friday schedule. Family Medicine Physician, permanent (or locum) in Las Vegas, NM; Monday–Friday, 8-hour days; primary care clinic; ongoing/permanent appointment. - MD or DO degree - Active, unrestricted NM medical license - Experience in family medicine/primary care (clinical competency required) - Able to manage ~16+ patients/day and participate in telephone call rotation - Eligible to prescribe medications

Responsibilities

• Follow established standards, procedures, and practices
• Evaluate outcomes and consult with other specialists
• Order diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Provide preventative care to long-term patients
• Perform physical exams and prescribe medications as needed

Qualifications

• Medical School graduate with a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state(s) of practice

Benefits

• Monday-Friday eight-hour work schedule
• Family medicine provider call rotation limited to telephone call only
• Patient volume of about 16+ patients per day
