A premier facility in Colorado Springs is urgently seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon with both open cerebrovascular and neuroendovascular capabilities for 24-hour call coverage starting August 2025 and ongoing.

This is a high-acuity, surgically intensive locum role ideal for a confident, experienced neurosurgeon who can manage thrombectomies and aneurysm clippings without transfers. Providers must be comfortable in trauma settings and willing to handle emergent, inpatient neurosurgical cases.

• Coverage Type: 24-hour call shifts

• Patient Population: 100% adult 50% trauma

• Setting: 100% inpatient

• Call Volume: Variable; avg. 0 5 hospital-based patients/day

• Support Staff: Dedicated CNS (M F) + APPs available at night

• Procedures Required:

  • Thrombectomies

  • Aneurysm clippings

  • Must be open and endovascular trained (NO interventional radiologists)

• EMR: Epic

• Credentialing: 90 days Temp privileges available

• Facility Type: High-acuity non-designated trauma center

• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery (ABNS/NES)

• Active CO License or IMLC Eligible

• ACLS, BLS (AHA only), DEA
