Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
4 x 10-hour shifts (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM) OR
5 x 8-hour shifts (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
On-call: Every 3rd week (phone call coverage, including overnight and weekend).
About the Role:
We are seeking a Dual Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP/PMHNP) to provide high-quality medical and psychiatric care to clients during their inpatient stay at our substance use treatment facility. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals recovering from substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Medical Director and fellow nurse practitioners to manage clients' medical care and detox protocols.
Conduct med passes and oversee clients' medication management.
Review and update medical protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain the highest standard of care.
Educate staff on medical procedures and protocols to ensure effective practices.
Assess the medical appropriateness of clients for admission.
Perform comprehensive history and physical exams, psychiatric assessments, and evaluations.
Requirements:
Active Nurse Practitioner License in Maryland (Required)
Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required).
Experience in addiction medicine preferred.
Dual Certification Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certifications. (REQUIRED)
