Description
The Business Development Specialist will lead strategic growth initiatives focused on expanding network participation and referral pipelines for both Medicaid and commercial insurance payers. This experienced professional will leverage strong project management skills and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) expertise to drive initiatives that enhance partnerships, streamline internal processes, and expand the network of individuals receiving quality ABA services. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with relevant business or clinical knowledge is preferred.

Here's what we need from you:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or related field.
2+ years of demonstrated success in business development, partnerships, or strategic growth roles—ideally in healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA services.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships
Proven experience in project management with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with active certification preferred.
Licensed Behavior Analyst with the State of Georgia preferred.
Experience engaging with Medicaid and commercial payers, including credentialing and contracting preferred.
Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) expertise or related training preferred.
Familiarity with CRM tools and data reporting platforms preferred.
Understanding of healthcare compliance, HIPAA regulations, and managed care structures preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and maintain strategic relationships with Medicaid and commercial insurers to secure provider credentialing, participation agreements, and favorable reimbursement structures.
Navigate insurance networks, payer credentialing processes, and managed care organizations to onboard ABA services effectively.
Represent the organization at payer meetings, industry conferences, and stakeholder events to enhance market awareness and build long-term collaborations.
Support hiring initiatives to onboard staff including behavior analysts, behavior technicians, etc.
Lead outreach efforts to referral sources—including healthcare providers, schools, community agencies, and advocacy organizations—to increase awareness and referral volume.
Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and business cases for growth opportunities.
