- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
