Assignment Details- Start Date ASAP

- Practice Setting Critical access hospital with urgent care services
- ER Coverage 24-hour coverage when on site
- Urgent Care Schedule 8:00a-5:00p
- Preferred Availability Minimum of 10 days per month, ideally one week on and one week off
- Patients Per Shift Approximately 4-6
- Admissions Per Shift Approximately 1-3
- Call Type Beeper
- Call Response Time 20 minutes
- Call Volume Approximately 1-3 callbacks per shift
- Hospital Size 25-bed facility
- Trauma Level V
- EMR Cerner
Clinical Details- Emergency department and urgent care coverage for adult and pediatric patients
- Low-census emergency medicine with limited transfers
- Newborns may present to the ED, no L&D department on site
- Coverage includes assigned and unassigned patients
- Coordination with on-site long-term care and swing bed services
- Collaboration with APP team covering additional ER shifts
- Participation in medical staff and provider meetings approximately two hours per month
Requirements- Board certified or board eligible physician
- Active Montana license or IMLC accepted
- ACLS required
- ATLS required
- BLS required
- PALS required
- Experience in critical access or low-volume emergency departments preferred
- Clean history
