Chief - Division of Clinical Pathology University of Cincinnati Position Highlights : Reasonable and balanced distribution of responsibilities: 65% administrative, 30% clinical, 5% teaching Collaborative academic environment across UC Health and the UC College of Medicine. Direct collaboration with experienced faculty, residency program leadership, and health system laboratory leadership. Lead and modernize Clinical Pathology operations across UC Health. Oversee quality initiatives, CAP/CLIA compliance, and test utilization improvements in the first 612 months. Compensation & Benefits : Base Salary based upon academic rank + value based incentives + wRVU variable pay Sign-on bonus, Full UC faculty benefits and retirement plan $7,500 CME Allowance + OH license renewal stipend Access to institutional research centers, leadership academies, and university resources. Qualifications : MD or DO or equivalent required Board Certification in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) Eligibility for Ohio medical licensure Strategic, solutions oriented leader with strong communication and team building skills Minimum of 5+ years of working experience in clinical pathology Proven leadership experience within academic, hospital-based, or reference lab settings Success in faculty mentoring, interdisciplinary collaboration and lab management.
