Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a current AZ or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Care for adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• May float between Med/Surg, Transitional Care Unit, and related units as needed
• Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry patients and managing care on a busy Med/Surg Unit
• Previous employment as perm staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years disqualifies applicants
• Requests for time off must be less than 1 week
• First time travelers will be considered for this assignment

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• No certifications should expire within the first 30 days of contract
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted
