Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician Needed (ASAP - Ongoing) We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Manchester, NH. Job Overview: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Assignment: Full-time locum need, equivalent to 2 FTEs Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available) Block Schedule: 7 on/7 off Shift Requirements: Providers must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month. Responsibilities: Patient Load: 16-20 patient visits per day, per physician. Hospital Setting: The hospital has a closed ICU, and no procedures are required from hospitalist physicians. This allows the team to focus on patient care, hospital operations, and medical education. Call Rotation: Call coverage is rotated, and the provider must be open to working both day and night shifts as needed. Weekend coverage is also required. Mentorship and Teaching: The ideal candidate will be excited to teach and mentor the next generation of physicians, engaging in various aspects of hospital operations and medical education. Key Requirements: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM). Licensing: Must have or be willing to obtain an active New Hampshire state medical license. Experience: Prior experience as a hospitalist is required, along with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment. EMR System: Meditech is the EMR used at the hospital.
