Vituity’s 6-month internship program is designed for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners wishing to enter the field of Emergency Medicine who have no prior Emergency Room practice (including new graduates) and want to gain experience.

The Opportunity

• The PAEM Internship started in 2007 and has successfully helped Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners gain Emergency Department clinical experience.
• Training begins in November/December and lasts for 6 months.
• Interns are expected to commit 40 hours/week throughout the program.
• At the conclusion of the program, all efforts are made to help successful Interns secure regular employment with Vituity.
• Applications currently being accepted; all application requirements must be met to be considered.
• AZ license required.
• No experience necessary; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Full-time opportunity.

• Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center is an acute-care hospital founded in 1988 and is currently the eighth largest hospital in the Valley.
• Level III Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center.
• 266-bed facility and a 43-room ED that has 54 spaces to care for patients.
• Annual volume of 56,000 with an admit rate of 25%.
• Bordering Surprise/El Mirage, providers get to see a nice mix of all populations.
