The Oncology - Radiation Physician will provide full-time radiation oncology care at a freestanding cancer center, sharing patient load with internal physicians and participating in a 1:2 call rotation. Responsibilities include overseeing clinic operations and developing radiation treatment plans for adult outpatients, supported by nursing staff. The role requires board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology, a Michigan medical license or IMLC/LOQ, and BLS certification.
Schedule:
Days: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Call: 24-hour shared with another physician (1:2 rotation)

2026 Schedule Expectations:
- Facility is looking for full-time weekly coverage starting February 2026.
- Our goal is to structure a schedule that has a locum s doctor to cover every week. The locums would share a pool (approx. half patient load) of patients, while the internal physician covers the other half and oversees the overall clinic and radiation plans.
Practice Details:
- Setting: Free-standing Cancer Center (Level 2 Trauma)
- Reason for Coverage: Physician turnover
- Support Staff: 1 Nurse Practitioner

- EMR: Aria & Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Michigan License or IMLC/LOQ
- BLS Certification
- Must be available for ongoing full-time coverage
