Description

Responsible for providing assistance to the GI physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the GI lab by providing safe and efficient patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing assistants or surgical technicians or equivalent combination of coursework, experience or training.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of GI / Endo experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Society of Gastroenterology Nurses Association (SGNA) Certification
• 5 years of Health care experience in a GI lab.
