Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Stepdown/Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in stepdown nursing and will be capable of handling a variety of patient needs, including respiratory issues, weakness, UTIs, AKI, and chest pain.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a stepdown/med surg setting.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Participate in patient education and communication with families.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
- Previous stepdown nursing experience.
- Ability to titrate drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone.
- Must be able to read telemetry strips.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license.
