Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in Phoenix, Arizona, that has an opening for a Medical Oncologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p
- Backup weekend call shifts required
- Setting: Primarily outpatient, some inpatient
- Duties:Diagnosing and evaluating new patients, ordering and managing chemotherapy and treatment, reading diagnostic imaging, overseeing infusions, and inpatient rounding
- Participation in tumor boards is required
- Support Staff: NPs, MAs, RNs, program coordinators, infusion schedulers, referral and authorization coordinators
- EMR: Cerner
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
