We are seeking a board-certified Neonatologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning on Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity involves NICU care with in-house shift coverage, including day, night, and 24-hour shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Candidates must have recent experience, an active California license, and NICU expertise.

- Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (day shift)
- Monday-Friday 3pm-9am (night shift)
- Monday-Friday 24-hour shift (combining the above)
- Weekend Shifts:
- Friday 3pm-Saturday 9am
- Saturday 9am-Sunday 9am
- Sunday 9am-Monday 9am
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide high-acuity care in a Level 4 NICU setting
- Participate in a collaborative team for 24/7 neonatal nurse practitioner coverage
- Deliver in-house coverage for assigned shifts as scheduled
- Maintain documentation in accordance with facility requirements and protocols
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards
- Complete prescreening and maintain an updated CV with all gaps explained
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Neonatology required
- Active California license required
- Recent Neonatology caseload experience within the past 12 months required
- Level 4 NICU experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Completion of prescreen questionnaire required
