Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for an inpatient position.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient acute care unit with exposure to ICU, cardiopulmonary, acute neuro, post-op ortho, general surgery, and inpatient rehab cases
- Patient population includes acute stroke rehab, post-trauma, orthopedic, and medical deconditioning
- Average caseload of 4-8 evaluations and 4-8 treatments per day
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with one weekend rotation every other month
- Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients across multiple acute care and rehab specialties
- Dress code requires black scrubs
- All positions are auto offer
- Covid vaccination is not required
- Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced pay rate based on facility radius policy
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care PT experience required
- License required if applicable
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US address
- Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
- Two professional references required
- Completion of skills checklist and submission of certifications required
