This assignment offers a chance to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a well-established healthcare facility. Key Details: Start Date: April 14, 2025 End Date: December 31, 2025 Position: Oncology Physician (Board-Certified) Schedule: Full-time coverage, including weekend and weeknight call Shift: Clinical hours plus call (Beepers required for call) Call Frequency: Call coverage every 5th weekend with some weeknight call coverage (a few times per month) Patients per Shift: Approximately 15 patients Department: Cancer Center (both outpatient and inpatient care required) Requirements: Specialty: Oncology Board Certification: Required for Oncology specialty Fellowship: Required for the position License: Must be licensed in Indiana or hold an IMLC ACLS: Not required BLS: Required EMR System: Cerner Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive oncology care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Supervise and manage care for assigned patients. Participate in call coverage, including weekend and occasional weeknight shifts. Work collaboratively with support staff (nurses, MA, PA/NPs) to deliver high-quality care.
