What You'll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for and report suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or unusual circumstances within the location.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, following established protocols.
- Adhere to all company and site-specific policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
